Description
Overview
Vectoor is a device working with elastic resistance for the exercise of the muscles of the lower limbs in concentric, eccentric, isometric and plyometric training.
The specific concept of biomechanics behind Vector implies the activation of the muscles in co-contraction, with positive feedbacks on the joint stability and proprioceptive stimulation.
Thanks to its particular technical and technological features, Vector is suitable for the simulation of technical gesture of specific sports, as well as for plyometrics with controlled work load.
The use of the elastic resistance it’s particularly adapted to plyometric training and during the final stages of rehabilitation.
Vector is a medical device according to the european directive.
Technical features
- Adjustable resistance with pre-selection of up to 8 elastics
- Seat with adjustable inclination to find the proper hip-joint angle
- Footrest with adjustable position for the correct angle of the knee
- Adjustable angle of the footrest between -20°+ 15°
- UP option for feedback and evaluation through a PC
Use and applications
Vector enables to perform the exercise controlling its acceleration and deceleration phases. The exercise with axial load is useful to precociously stimulate the injured limb by applying a specific fraction of the body weight. The workout with axial load performed within a closed kinetic loop determines the contraction of the flexor and extensor muscles of the lower limb, reduces the translation of the tibia along the femur and limits the patellar-femoral compression forces.
Vector Up: the use of a computerized system enhances efficiency and quality, while providing real time feedback and options to measure and monitor the exercise parameters (force, power, joint angulation).
